Privacy policy

Last updated: 30 September 2026

This policy explains how UB hunter handles personal information when you visit our websites or contact us through them. It covers website enquiries, technical records and browser storage. It does not give us unrestricted permission to use your information for recruitment, marketing or other puRPOses.

1. Who we are and what this policy covers

The website is operated by Shenzhen Pengcheng Human Resources Co., Ltd. (深圳市鹏城人力资源有限公司), a company based in mainland China that operates the UB hunter brand. The English company name is a reference translation of our registered Chinese name.

This policy applies to UB hunter websites operated by Shenzhen Pengcheng Human Resources Co., Ltd. that display or link to this policy, and to enquiries made through those websites. We offer websites in different languages, and information-handling arrangements may vary by site. Please refer to the privacy policy and any additional notices displayed on the website you are using.

Recruitment assignments, candidate introductions, assessments, employment and other services may require additional information and a separate notice. This website policy does not replace those notices or any consent required for a particular activity.

2. Information we collect and why

  • Website enquiries. The enquiry form asks for your name, a telephone number or email address, and the service you are interested in. You may also provide your company, target role and a message. We use these details to understand your request, contact you and keep track of the response. Without the required fields, we cannot process the online form; you can still browse the website.
  • Submission and security records. We record the submission time, source page and page title, your contact consent, IP address and browser user-agent information. The form also creates verification and duplicate-submission identifiers and an IP-derived security identifier. These support verification, abuse prevention, delivery troubleshooting and enquiry management. These records are not treated as anonymous merely because an identifier has been hashed.
  • Website access. Server and security logs may record IP addresses, requested pages, timestamps, browser information and errors to operate, protect and troubleshoot the website.
  • Direct contact. If you email or call us, or choose to contact us through a messaging service, we receive the details and correspondence you provide through that channel. Its provider may also process information under its own policy.

The website enquiry form does not provide a CV-upload facility. Please do not include identity documents, bank details, health information, assessment results, third-party personal information or confidential employer materials in an initial enquiry. Before sending a CV or other recruitment materials, contact us to confirm the receiving channel, intended use, recipients and retention arrangements.

Agreeing to be contacted about your enquiry does not subscribe you to marketing or authorise us to send your CV to employers. Where we rely on consent, you may withdraw it as described in section 5. Where another legal basis is available, processing must remain within its applicable conditions.

Cookies and similar storage can support website sessions, verification, security and preferences. Our preference panel stores your choice in this browser's local storage under acceptCookie. That choice remains until you change it or clear the site's browser data; it is not a consent record for sharing a CV or transferring personal information overseas.

The current English website configuration does not enable optional analytics or advertising cookies. The panel records your choice: it does not erase an enquiry already submitted, disable necessary server logging, or provide a general switch for every third-party script. If optional tracking is introduced, its purposes, providers and applicable controls must be explained before it is used.

You can reopen the preference panel below. Your browser also lets you review or clear cookies and local storage; blocking necessary storage may affect functions that depend on it.

4. Who may receive information

Enquiries are stored in the website's enquiry system for handling by authorised personnel. Where email notifications are enabled, the enquiry details are also sent to the configured business mailbox. Website and email copies must both be considered when handling access, deletion and retention requests.

Hosting, technical support and communications providers may process information needed to provide their services. Where they act on our instructions, access and use must be limited to the agreed service and subject to appropriate confidentiality and security arrangements. Sharing with a provider is different from providing candidate information to an employer or recruitment partner.

We do not sell personal information. A website enquiry does not authorise unrestricted sharing with clients, affiliates or overseas partners. Before an introduction or other new use, we will explain the relevant purpose, information and recipient, and obtain consent or meet another applicable legal requirement. Where separate consent is required, the general enquiry checkbox does not replace it.

Information may also be disclosed where required or permitted by applicable law, such as responding to a valid legal request or protecting legal rights. Any disclosure must be limited to what the circumstances justify.

5. Your choices and requests

Contact zgs@youbilie.com to ask about the personal information we hold about you, request access or a copy, correct inaccurate information, request deletion, withdraw consent, or raise a privacy concern. Other rights may apply depending on the relevant law and the processing involved.

Please identify the website and enquiry concerned, give an approximate date and describe your request. Do not send identity documents with an initial request. We may ask for proportionate verification before releasing or changing information. We will assess the request under applicable requirements and explain any restriction or reason we cannot fulfil it.

Withdrawing consent does not undo processing lawfully carried out beforehand. If information is needed to handle your request, withdrawal may prevent us from continuing that part of the service. You may also contact the relevant data protection authority or use other remedies available under applicable law.

6. Storage locations and international handling

We have selected Tencent Cloud in Singapore to host this English website. Tencent Cloud is our chosen hosting provider for our language websites. Hosting regions are selected separately for each site and stated in its privacy policy; storage locations and information-handling arrangements may differ. Our operating company is based in mainland China. Responding to an enquiry may involve access by an authorised team in mainland China; hosting in Singapore does not mean that every activity or copy is confined to Singapore.

Email delivery, backups, support and any later candidate introduction may involve additional recipients or locations. Singapore hosting alone is not permission for those activities. Before a cross-border activity that requires additional notice, separate consent, an assessment or other safeguards, the relevant arrangements must be established. Where required, this includes identifying the overseas recipient, its contact details, the information and purpose involved, and how you can exercise your rights.

This policy does not by itself complete a cross-border transfer procedure or waive protections provided by applicable law. Contact our privacy mailbox if you need clarification before providing information.

7. Retention and security

We retain personal information only for as long as needed for the stated purpose or a relevant legal requirement. For enquiries, we consider whether the request and follow-up are complete and whether a specific dispute or legal duty requires further retention. Technical logs are considered separately according to their operational and security purpose. Information later used for an agreed recruitment service requires its own retention arrangements.

When retention is no longer necessary, the information should be deleted or irreversibly anonymised. This applies to relevant website, mailbox and backup copies. If immediate deletion is not technically possible, or a legal requirement prevents it, any remaining use must be limited to permitted storage and protection until deletion is possible. For the retention arrangements that apply to a particular enquiry or service, please contact our privacy mailbox.

Security measures should be proportionate to the information and risk, including restricted administrative access and secure transmission and handling. No website or communication method is completely risk-free. If a personal information incident occurs, we will assess it, take appropriate remedial steps and make notifications required by applicable law. Please contact us promptly if you suspect misuse of information submitted through the website.

8. External websites and communication services

Links to maps, social networks, messaging services and other websites take you to services with their own operators and privacy terms. Information you provide there may be handled in other countries. Review their terms before providing information. Their practices do not remove our responsibility for information that we ourselves receive or disclose.

9. Children and young people

Our website and recruitment enquiries are intended for adults. Children should not submit personal information through the general enquiry form. If a young person needs to contact us, a parent or guardian should contact us first so that any applicable age, consent and service requirements can be addressed. Please notify us if a child's information has been submitted without appropriate authority.

10. Updates and contact

We will update the date above when this policy changes. Material changes to the purposes, recipients or other significant handling arrangements will be brought to your attention as required. Continued browsing is not treated as blanket consent to a new purpose or disclosure; where new consent is required, it must be obtained separately.
